K3Y Ltd (K3Y) is a creative SME focusing on Research, Development and Inspiration. K3Y designs, develops and implements customised solutions, products and frameworks for various domains, including telecommunications, security, privacy and software development. K3Y supports integrated security solutions for a variety of applications, e.g., industrial devices, communications protocols, IoT devices and gateways and automations. It supports honeypot development for emulating numerous industrial protocols, communication processes and human activity (personas). In addition, K3Y is able to design and implement advanced big data analytics in supporting anomaly detection in a cross-layer approach, advanced Instruction Detection and Prevention systems (IDPS), Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) communication and smart grid security and privacy protection.

K3Y supports the K3V1S, which is a novel visual-aided intrusion and prevention system based on deep learning and leading visual analytics. Given the importance of security risks, K3Y offers cutting-edge solutions in the field of penetration testing. The so-called K3P3T3 is an innovative penetration testing suite which is able to perform numerous black, white and grey box tests such as death ping attacks, Burp Suite mapping and analysis, Hydra online brute-forcing, Owasp-zap for finding vulnerabilities, Nmap for network scanning and port mapping and Metasploit framework for smart exploitation. K3Y is also focused on 5G simulation modelling and validation using a realistic environment called K3SIM, where various 5G scenarios could be simulated, analysed and validated. K3SIM encloses many scenarios, paradigms and examples, by realising all 5G categories such as enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communications (URLLC), Massive Machine Type Communications (MMTC). Moreover, K3Y is focused on developing and supporting fog/edge computing in UAV application and it has achieved critical advancements such as on-the-field real time data processing and multi-UAV cooperation. Lastly, K3Y offers integrated smart solutions as a service on precision agriculture, smart parking, industrial surveillance and environmental monitoring.

SPIDER: a cyberSecurity Platform for vIrtualiseD 5G cybEr Range services [H2020 SU-DS01-2018 Cybersecurity preparedness – cyber range, simulation and economics].
SPIDER delivers an innovative Cyber Range as a Service platform that extends and combines the capabilities of existing telecommunication testbeds and cyber ranges into a unified facility for (i) testing new security technologies, (ii) training modern cyber defenders in near real-world conditions, and (iii) supporting organisations and relevant stakeholders in making optimal cybersecurity investment decisions. At its core, it is a highly customisable dynamic network modelling instrument that enables real-life virtualisation and real-time emulation of networks and systems. It also offers real-time interaction and information sharing capabilities by acting as a serious gaming repository for multiple stakeholders to share material and maximise efficiency in delivering complex cyber exercises.
