MINDS is a creative Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME) focusing on research, development and industrial projects. In particular, MINDS designs and implements customised solutions for various sectors, comprising energy, telecommunications, healthcare and agriculture. To this end, MINDS provides and supports a plethora of integrated applications and tools related to the Internet of Things (IoT), cybersecurity, 5G, artificial intelligence, smart farming and precision agriculture. First, given the importance of cybersecurity and privacy risks, MINDS provides customised honeypot applications that can imitate the network behaviour of real industrial devices, thus hiding and protecting the real assets.

Moreover, MINDS provides a set of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) intrusion detectors targeted to industrial and IoT ommunication protocols, such as Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104, Distributed Network Protocol 3 (DNP3), IEC 61850 and Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT). Furthermore, MINDS provides M-RADAR, a Visual-based Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (VIDPS), which adopts Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques and visual analytics in order to detect and normalise possible anomalies. Similarly, MINDS provides F-BoX, which composes a Federated Learning (FL) solution for detecting and discriminating various kinds of cyberattacks. In addition, MINDS offers the MINDS Attack Generator, which can assist ML and DL security solutions by generating appropriate malicious datasets, taking into account the unique characteristics of each environment. Furthermore, MINDS provides M-PenTesting Suite, an innovative penetration testing solution related to industrial protocols and supports numerous Blackbox, Whitebox and Greybox security tests that combine and enhance a variety of open-source penetration testing, social engineering and privacy solutions, such as OWASP ZAP, Nmap NSE, TOR and Veil. Taking into account the 5G evolution, MINDS is also focused on novel technologies, such as Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualisation (NFV). In particular, MINDS offers the M-Controller & Dashboard, which represents a fault-tolerant SDN solution with the presence of multiple coordinated SDN controllers that can be coordinated with a web-based dashboard. The SDN controllers are able to connect with open-source and proprietary SDN switches in the data plane, such as Open vSwitch (OVS) and Aruba SDN switches.

Moreover, with respect to the application plane, M-Controller & Dashboard can support various SDN applications that can cooperate automatically with the SDN controllers in the control plane, thus enhancing the efficiency of the overall SDN network depending on the application domain. Finally, through AGROMINDS, MINDS focuses also on smart farming, precision agriculture and industrial surveillance applications. More precisely, MINDS supports Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) applications that can adopt Transfer Learning (TL) models capable of recognising stress and various diseases.
